In short
We only collect what is needed to make your invitation and collect RSVPs. We never sell it and we do not use advertising trackers.
Only you can see your guests' RSVPs, behind a password. Invitation websites are hidden from Google unless you ask.
Everything is deleted 10 days after your event.

1. Who we are
InviteWink designs and hosts invitation websites. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you and your guests have. It applies to this website, to the invitation websites we host and to conversations with us on WhatsApp.
2. What we collect
From you, when you order: your name and WhatsApp number, and the event details you send us for your invitation, such as names, dates, venues, your story, photos and music.
From your guests, when they RSVP: the name they enter, whether they will attend, how many people are coming, any message they choose to write, and an email address or phone number if they choose to give one (shown to you so you can contact them). With each response we also keep a technical record: the IP address, browser, device type and approximate location (city, region and country, worked out from the IP address). This record is used only to prevent abuse and to respond to lawful requests; it is visible to our administrators only and is never shown to the hosts or other guests.
From visitors: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run the service securely. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.
3. How we use it
- To build, host and update your invitation website.
- To show RSVP responses to you on your private guest-list page.
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and respond to lawful requests (using the technical records described above).
4. Who can see what
Your invitation website can be opened by anyone who has its link, so please share it only with your guests. By default, invitation websites are hidden from search engines such as Google; we only make one searchable if you ask us to.
RSVP responses are visible only on your private guest-list page, which is protected by a password we give only to you. Guests cannot see each other's responses.
5. Service providers
We use trusted providers to host websites and store RSVP data securely. They process information only on our instructions. Some providers may store data on servers outside India; where they do, we choose providers that protect it to recognised security standards.
6. How long we keep it
Each invitation website and its RSVP responses (including their technical records) are kept until 10 days after the last event date on the invitation. After that the website is taken offline and its content, photos, responses and records are permanently deleted, unless we are required by law to keep a record longer.
Our WhatsApp conversations with you are kept only as long as needed to support your order. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to take your invitation website down early. Guests can ask the host, or us directly, to remove their RSVP. Message us on WhatsApp and we will respond as quickly as we can.
8. Security
Guest-list pages are protected by a password and an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to RSVP data is limited to the systems that need it. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Children
Our service is ordered by adults. If an invitation includes children's names or photos (for example a family photo), it is shared at the request of their parent or guardian.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. For any privacy question or request, message us on WhatsApp or use our contact page. See also our Terms of Service.
